KEEPER’S DREAM COMES TRUE…

BID: Lawrence Vigouroux

YOU would think it unlikely that the reigning South American champions would call up a League Two goalkeeper.
But that is exactly what’s happened to Swindon Town keeper Lawrence Vigouroux.
The English-born 24-year-old, who has Chilean and Jamaican roots, has got the nod for Chile’s friendlies against Japan and South Korea.
Although Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez isn’t in the squad, Vigouroux will be rubbing shoulders with the likes of Barcelona’s Arturo Vidal, Bayer Leverkusen’s Charles Aranguiz and Besiktas’ Gary Mede...
