GOALS WILL HELP BANNAN ADD THE GLOSS

TALENT: Barry Bannan

ONE of the goals of midweek was from Sheffield Wednesday’s Barry Bannan, who rifled a stunning strike into the roof of the net from the edge of the box to set the Owls on their way to a much-needed three points against Millwall.
I watched Bannan last Sunday at Griffin Park against Brentford, and felt he was the best player on the pitch.
He was at the heart of everything Wednesday tried to do. He never gave up and must have covered every blade of grass. He made one great last-ditch block towards the end of the game which epitomised his terrific attitude.
