Harry does level best as Silkmen grab draw

STAR MAN HARRY SMITH Macclesfield
MANSFIELD drew a fourth successive league game after Mal Benning’s firsthalf header was cancelled out by Harry Smith’s first goal for Macclesfield.
The Silkmen remain winless following their promotion from the National League, however boss Mark Yates’ triple half-time substitution created a much stronger second-half showing.
Benning’s 32nd minute opener came when Otis Khan danced his way into the Macc box on the right hand side and the wing-back was on hand to nod his pinpoint cross in from eight yards.
