McCarthy disciple Jay says he’ll be in demand

FORMER Ipswich midfielder Jay Tabb believes it’s going to be a hard task to find a better manager than soon-to-depart boss Mick McCarthy.
The Championship club confirmed ten days ago they would not be renewing the former Republic of Ireland manager’s contract at the end of the season after almost six years of service.
Tabb was signed by McCarthy in March 2013, initially on loan from Reading, before signing permanently that summer.
