DINO Maamria admitted his players looked almost too eager to impress at times after his first match in charge of Stevenage ended in a home defeat against Colchester United.
The Tunisian, who played 97 games in two spells for the Hertfordshire club in addition to serving as their assistant manager, returned to the Lamex last week to take over the hot seat from Darren Sarll.
