LEAGUE ONE
WIGAN earned a dramatic 1-0 victory at fading Bradford City last Wednesday.
Michael Jacobs latched onto Will Grigg’s flick in the first minute of stoppage time and coolly finished.
It was enough to lift Wigan into second place, above Shrewsbury on goal difference and five points behind leaders Blackburn with three games in hand.
The previous night, there was also late drama. League One top scorer Jack Marriott netted his 22nd league goal of the season in stoppage time as Peterborough climbed into the play-off positions with a 1-0 success at rock-bottom Bury.
