Match Verdict
IT WAS very much a game of two halves at Brunton Park, and County have their goalkeeper Ross Fitzsimons to thank after his string of fine saves kept Carlisle at bay in the first half of this encounter.
The Cumbrians were on top in the opening period. They play good football, but without becoming more ruthless in front of goal, a play-off spot could prove to be beyond them.
For County, much to ponder about their opening period, but plenty of positives from an impressive second half. It was a good reaction against a good side and their equaliser was fully deserved.
