DONCASTER’S Andy Butler insists age is just a number as he continues to try to silence the critics.
In the summer, the defender’s doubters questioned whether the 33-year-old, who has been with the club since January 2015, could still cut it in League One.
But the Doncaster-born centre-back has been one of Rovers’ most consistent performers this term.
Instead of contemplating hanging up his boots, the former Walsall man is enjoying being one of the fittest men in boss Darren Ferguson’s squad.
