THIS highly-anticipated match between two highflyers in the division didn’t really live up to expectations, though Wycombe will feel this is a game they should have won.
You don’t want to pile the blame on Adebayo Akinfenwa – every striker goes through the sort of day he had and, as the focal point up top, he kept causing the visitors problems. Unfortunately for the Chairboys, top scorers in the country prior to Saturday, the finishing touch just wasn’t there on this occasion.
