IN-FORM Reading secured a third successive league victory by edging past ten-man Bristol Rovers at the SCL Stadium with a 1-0 victory.
Reading dominated much of a lively first half but were kept at bay by a series of fine saves from Rovers keeper Josh Griffiths.
Rovers’ hopes suffered a severe blow in the 55th minute when Shaq Forde was sent off for a second yellow.
Minutes later, they lost all hope when Sam Smith's smart run and cool finish gave the Royals the win.
