Match Preview: Cheltenham Town v Carlisle United (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Cheltenham Town and Carlisle United both come into Tuesday’s late kick-off at the Completely-Suzuki Stadium in poor form, having picked up only four points each in their last six games.

The two teams have each collected one win and one draw from their last six outings.

Carlisle are bottom of the table after 42 games, of which they have won six and drawn nine, earning 27 points.

Cheltenham are two places ahead of United in 22nd, with 10 wins and eight draws putting them on 38 points.

In the last 10 years, Cheltenham and Carlisle have played each other on 11 occasions. Cheltenham won five of them, Carlisle four, and they drew twice.

On average, the Robins scored 0.8 goals and Carlisle 0.9 in those matches.

Their last meeting was on December 23, when Cheltenham won 1-0 away.
