Match Preview: Leyton Orient v Burton Albion (Saturday, 3pm)

Leyton Orient are heavy favourites to keep all three points at home in Saturday’s kick-off against Burton Albion.

Orient, who sit eighth in League One with 32 games played, are priced at 1.6 to seal victory at Brisbane Road.

Sitting 10 places and 13 points behind them in the table, Burton are 5.4 to win with betting companies*, while the draw is at 3.9.

With 27 goals in 31 games so far this season, Burton are scoring at below the league average rate with 0.9 goals per game. And they are conceding at an average rate, letting in 40 goals at a rate of 1.3 per game.

Orient are also below average scorers, with 1.2 goals per game, compared to a league average of 1.3. They have also conceded 1.2 goals per game.

The home side are in good form in League One, with four wins and a draw from their last six games.

With two wins and two draws over that period, Albion’s form is worse – they have taken eight points from 18, compared to Orient’s 13.

Orient’s last match was on Tuesday, a 4-3 win against Northampton Town, with Ruel Sotiriou (two), Oliver O’Neill and Shaqai Forde getting the goals for Orient.

Burton beat Bristol Rovers 2-1 last time out, on February 10, with Ciaran Gilligan and Mark Helm on the scoresheet.
