BARTON SWOOPS TO SIGN ‘QUALITY’ MARTIN

BRISTOL Rovers boss Joey Barton has expressed his delight at bringing proven goalscorer Chris Martin to the club.
Rovers have signed the 34-year-old on a deal until January and the former Scotland international will give Barton extra firepower.
He has scored 150 goals in 535 club games throughout his career. Martin started out with Norwich and had loan spells with Luton, Crystal Palace, Swindon and Derby.
He then signed permanently with the Rams before going on to have further temporary spells with Fulham, Reading and Hull.
