Much more lies ahead for my U’s – Bonner

Upbeat boss Mark Bonner says he is ‘really excited’ by the potential at Cambridge United after signing a new long-term contract.
The 37-year-old came through the ranks to take the reins in early 2020 and led the U’s to promotion in his first full season in charge. He has since maintained the club’s third tier status, but believes there is still plenty more for him to achieve.
“I am so pleased to have signed a new long-term contract with this great club,” he told the club website.
“Everyone knows how much Cambridge United means to me and I am really excited by our potential.
