SYKES HAS SIGHTS ON GOING UP

 

 
MARK Sykes insists his contract situation is not a distraction as he focuses on Oxford’s promotion push.
The 24-year-old midfielder’s deal expires this summer, but he is determined to seal the club’s promotion.
“It’s not a distraction, as there’s nothing else happening at the minute,” Sykes said.
“I’m here to get promoted. I want to win as many games as possible for Oxford and if we were to get promoted it would be really positive for me and the club.
“Come the end of the season we’ll see where we end up.”
