O’NIEN REVEALS I NJURY TORMENT

SUNDERLAND midfielder Luke O’Nien has admitted his fight for fitness left him “lonely”, “angry” and “not wanting to get out of bed”.
The 27-year-old has been out of action since November after struggling to shake off a shoulder problem, which eventually required surgery, and has revealed he has struggled to cope with his lengthy absence.
O’Nien, who opened up about the issues he has faced in a bid to help other players going through similar situations, said he had created new routines...
