BILLY GETS DVT BLOW

BILLY Sass-Davies is suffering from deep vein thrombosis and will not play again this season, according to Crewe manager David Artell.
Artell had been planning to play the defender last weekend, but a scan on the eve of the Accrington match discovered the 21-year-old had a blood clot in a calf. Artell said: “The scan revealed a DVT, so he is out for the rest of the season.”
