STEVE Gallen has spoken of his delight at bringing striker Chuks Aneke back to Charlton.
The 28-year-old left the Addicks for Birmingham on a free transfer last summer, but returned for an undisclosed fee.
Aneke netted against Cheltenham last week on debut, and Charlton’s director of recruiting said: “We didn’t want him to leave in the first place.
“He chose Birmingham, to play in the Championship –I had no problem.
But we never let it go... and I always wanted to bring him back.”
