ROTHERHAM captain Richard Wood has taken heart from his side’s FA Cup performance against QPR and suggests it bodes well for next season should they manage to win promotion.
The Millers pushed the Championship high-fliers all the way in London before being knocked out on penalties.
Wood, 36, said: “It is encouraging for the lads to see we can go up against good sides from the league above and hold our own.”
