DANNY Lloyd admits he has “never been part of a squad that has had so many injuries” as Gillingham are currently experiencing, but added “we are still fighting”.
Max Ehmer was the latest victim after suffering a shoulder injury in midweek and Lloyd, only just back in action himself, said: “We are giving everything we’ve got; we’re just short on numbers.
“We are in the trenches and we’ll continue to fight for this club and the fans.”
