POLLOCK PLEASES BOSS DUFF

CHELTENHAM boss Michael Duff has praised the attitude of Watford loanee Mattie Pollock.
The defender, 20, fired the Robins into the second round of the FA Cup with the only goal in a replay win over Gillingham.
“He has parts of his game he needs to tidy up, but he is improving and is working hard,” Duff said.
“He’s a good kid who wants to learn. He’s come here from a Premier League team and he didn’t have to come, he could just sit there after moving for £250,000 and picking up a nice wage.”
