LOWERY IN LIMBO AS DEAL SAGA DRAGS ON

CREWE manager Dave Artell has vowed star midfielder Tom Lowery won’t play for the club until his “ridiculous” contract dispute is resolved.
The 23-year-old’s current deal runs out next June and the club have been negotiating with his agent all summer, but to no avail.
Lowery played for Crewe in their 1-0 Papa John’s Trophy win away at Shrewsbury last week and has told Artell he wants to sign a new contract.
