APPLETON BULLISH OVER DUO

LINCOLN boss Michael Appleton hopes Liam Bridcutt and Tom Hopper will be fit to return before the end of the season.
Both experienced midfielder Bridcutt, 31, and 27-year-old striker Hopper have been sidelined since March, with calf and hamstring injuries respectively, but the pair could be back in time to help the promotion push.
Asked if the duo are getting closer to fitness, Appleton said: “They are. They, possibly, could be ready for the final week.”
