JAMES Coppinger has credited seeking help with a behaviourist as making a big difference to him ahead of a game-wide initiative on mental health.
The 39-year-old midfielder worked with one early on in his career and talked about the benefits.
Coppinger said: “I didn’t know what to do, but when I met Terry Gormley and sought help, that made such a huge difference in my life, he became a part of my support network and helped me to deal with a lot.
“It’s just about making people aware of the understanding of how the mind works.”
