U’S PUT THEIR FAITH IN STARLET KWAME

PROMISING striker Kwame Poku has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract with Colchester United.
Poku, 18, joined the U’s from Worthing at the start of the season and scored his first goal in a 2-1 victory against Leyton Orient in League Two in September.
“The new contract is reward for the performances he has given us since coming into the squad”, said U’s boss John McGreal.
“He’s a real talent, and for a player of his age, has already shown that there is a real end product to all the skill we know he possesses.
