Super-sub Ross sinks teeth into Brewers

SUB Josh Rees scored a stoppage time winner as FA Cup giantkillers Gillingham triumphed over Carabao Cup semi-finalists Burton Albion after a thriller at the Pirelli Stadium. The Gills struck with their first effort of the game, after they absorbed heavy Burton pressure in the opening 20 minutes.
On the stroke of half-time they made it two before a spirited second half comeback from Burton levelled the game – only for Rees to settle the issue in injury time.
Gillingham boss Steve Lovell was delighted with his summer signing Rees.
