LUKE Waterfall is confident he can handle the step up to League One after swapping Lincoln for Shrewsbury.
The 28-year-old defender had been with the Imps for the past three years and led the side back into the Football League in 2016-17.
Waterfall has signed a three-year deal with the Shrews, and told their website: “It is a step up from League Two where I have been playing.
“I’m 28 now and Shrewsbury have shown a lot of faith in me, offering a three-year deal, which shows a level of commitment on their part. I want to repay that with good performances.”
