NEW signing Scott Malone has a key role to play in the Derby team, according to boss Frank Lampard.
The 27-year-old moved to Pride Park from Huddersfield on a three-year deal on Wednesday.
Lampard said: “Scott is a player I’ve liked for a long time. He’s an attacking left-back with lots of speed and with the way we want to play, the fullbacks are very important for us.
