JACOB: I’M READY TO BE A MAN

MANCHESTER City loanee Jacob Davenport is ready to cut his teeth in the senior game at Burton.
The 19-year-old, highlyrated by Pep Guardiola, has joined the Brewers’ fight for Championship survival until the end of the season.
Davenport, whose favoured position is defensive midfield, was City’s Under-18 player of the year in 2016.
“The EDS (Elite Development Squad) league is not as challenging as league football and playing against men is what I need now,” he said.
“I am up for the challenge and can’t wait to get started.”
