JOHN-JOE O’Toole is not a screamer and shouter, according to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, yet the Northampton boss believes the midfielder’s impact can’t be overstated.
O’Toole had been sidelined for a month with a bruised ankle but had 45 minutes at Oldham before completing the full 90 against Walsall.
In the 2-1 victory over the Saddlers, the 29-year-old was almost playing alongside Chris Long up top and, after an impressive display, which included an assist, Hasselbaink knows what his quiet man is capable of.
