The Shrews had the Bantams on the back foot for much of the match, yet it was Bradford who snatched victory courtesy of an own goal.
It may have been lucky but Bradford’s dogged and determined defensive display deserved some reward – and they got it. On the evidence of this, both sides will be in the mix come May.
Shrewsbury need to find a striker who will take at least a percentage of the chances they create.
