AARON Connolly has been challenged to “reset” his bad boy image after sealing a move to Sunderland.
The 24-year-old, capped nine times by the Republic of Ireland, burst onto the scene at Brighton as a teenager and famously scored a brace against Tottenham on his first Premier League start.
But his career nosedived amid a series of nightclub incidents and other off-pitch indiscretions, including a club sanction for breaching Covid protocols.
