Ruthless Blades pile on pressure

… and ace Tella hits hat-trick for Clarets

Relentless Sheffield United showed yet again they are going to be tough to dislodge from the automatic promotion places as they dispatched Swansea – and earned the praise of boss Paul Heckingbottom.

Goals from Sander Berge, Jack Robinson and Oli McBurnie saw the second-placed Blades cruise to a 3-0 success at Bramall Lane, making it ten games unbeaten in the Championship.

Heckingbottom said: “We prepared for what Swansea put in front of you and it’s a big pat on the back to the players.”

Nathan Tella hit a hattrick as leaders Burnley beat Preston 3-0 and equalled the Championship record for successive wins with their tenth victory on the trot.
