BEEVERS BIGS UP EDWARDS

PETERBOROUGH teenager Ronnie Edwards has “an old head on his shoulders” according to fellow defender Mark Beevers.

Edwards, 18, has made five starts for Posh this season, benefitting from a hamstring injury suffered by Beevers in August.
He has impressed Beevers since signing from Barnet last summer.
“Ronnie has come in and he’s been great,” Beevers, 31, said.
“He’s a different kind of player to what we’ve got, but he’s a great young talent.
“He’s got an old head on his shoulders.”
