CRITCHLEY SUPPORT FOR WARD

BLACKPOOL boss Neil Critchley will ensure Grant Ward gets the support he needs to make as swift a recovery as possible after learning the midfielder requires surgery on an Achilles tendon.
The 26-year-old suffered the injury during the second half of last week’s draw against Bournemouth.
“It’s going to be a lengthy period of time off,” Critchley said.
“He’ll be a big miss for us. He’s great around the training ground every day and is a bubbly character who is well liked.
