MIDDLESBROUGH boss Neil Warnock has confirmed that strike duo Britt Assombalonga and Ashley Fletcher have left the club.
Both players were out of contract this summer – Fletcher, 25, turned down a new deal, while 28-year-old Assombalonga was not offered fresh terms – and Warnock “didn’t think there was any point” in prolonging their exit.
