TENDAYI Darikwa was keen to link up with Leam Richardson for the second time in his career after joining Wigan.
The full-back, 29, left Nottingham Forest for Latics on a short-term deal until the end of the season.
He was reunited with Richardson, assistant manager at the DW Stadium, who he worked with early in his career at Chesterfield.
Darikwa said: “Leam had a big effect on me at the start of my career… so it’s nice to come in and help him out, and hopefully we can move up the table.”
