SUNDERLAND midfielder Elliot Embleton has returned to training and boss Phil Parkinson thinks he could be back in the matchday squad soon.
“He’s back involved, if we can get him through next week then he will be close to contention”, said Parkinson.
The Durham-born 20-year-old picked up some valuable game time on loan at Grimsby last season and has made six outings for the Cats this season.
