BRISTOL Rovers midfielder Liam Sercombe was delighted to be able to make a rapid recovery from a recent calf injury.
Sercombe missed defeats to Doncaster and Bolton respectively, but came off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Portsmouth.
“It was quicker than I expected,” he said. “I’d done a lot of work to get myself back.
“I hate being out but it was nice to be back. Hopefully it just holds off now.”
