CREWE defender Perry Ng has the attributes of a future club captain, according to manager David Artell.
The 22-year-old, who came through the ranks at Gresty Road, wore the armband during the recent win over Tranmere due to the absence of his centre-back partner George Ray.
“Perry is a captain in the making and he is a leader – no more, no less,” Artell said.
“He has to learn to say the right things at the right times, but that will come. He is a terrific lad and we actually have a few good leaders inside the dressing room.”
