MIDDLESBROUGH midfielder Lewis Wing was “over the moon” after beating a host of Premier League stars to land the Carabao Cup fourthround goal and player of the round awards.
The 23-year-old completed a double swoop following his winner in last month’s narrow 1-0 victory at home to Crystal Palace which sent his side into the quarter-finals. Wing, who was playing Northern League football for Shildon and working in a factory 20 months ago, thumped home a 25- yard piledriver in firsthalf stoppage-time.
