TERRY McPhillips claims the Blackpool manager’s job was “an offer I couldn’t turn down”.
The 49-year-old had nine games in interim charge of the Seasiders, eight of those unbeaten, before landing the post.
McPhillips added: “It’s such a big club with lots of history. I’m delighted.
“I’ve got to say a really big thank you to the staff and the players because they’ve really backed us.”
