CARLISLE boss John Sheridan has urged goalkeeper Joe Fryer to stay positive after he suffering a broken leg against Crewe.
Fryer (22), on loan from Middlesbrough, suffered breaks to his tibia and fibula in a challenge with Paul Green.
“We’re all gutted for him. He’s had the operation and it’s now about him being positive,” said Sheridan.
“He knows his recovery is going to take a while, but I’ve spoken to him and one thing I have been able to say is that I had this injury myself, when I was 19, and I went on to play for a long time.”...
