DARREN Moore has backed Tyrone Mears to use his wealth of experience to help West Brom in the Championship after he signed a short-term deal with the club.
Full-back Mears, 35, most recently turned out for Minnesota United in Major League Soccer having previously played for the likes of Preston North End, Derby County and Burnley.
“We’re former teammates at Derby and, when I heard about his availability and looked at the situation we have in terms of the squad’s balance at the moment, it was a no-brainer for me,” said Moore.
