SHREWSBURY have signed right-back Josh Emmanuel on a season-long loan from Ipswich Town.
The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at Rotherham and one of his 37 appearances saw him face – and beat – Town in the League One play-off final at Wembley.
Emmanuel also previously had a short spell at Crawley and he has featured 24 times for Ipswich.
Shrews manager John Askey said: “He was out on loan with Rotherham last year and, obviously had a good season with them. He’s a good defender, but he can also get forward as well.”
