FORMER Bolton striker Adam Le Fondre admits he had to take the “opportunity of a lifetime” and join Sydney FC.
The 31-year-old left the Trotters on Tuesday to pursue a move to an overseas club and was announced as the Australian side’s new signing on Friday, agreeing a “multi-year deal”.
Le Fondre, who has also played for Cardiff, Reading and Rotherham, scored seven goals last term to help Bolton avoid relegation from the Championship.
