ANDRE IS A BIG HIT AT PIRATES

PROMISING French goalkeeper Alexis Andre Jr has extended his contract with Bristol Rovers after impressing during his first season with the club.
The 20-year-old has spent most of his time with Rovers’ development squad since signing in the summer, having been part of the Nike Academy.
He has also spent time away on loan with Paulton Rovers and Tiverton, but made his Pirates debut in a 2-1 win over Walsall earlier this season.
Development squad manager Chris Hargreaves said: “We can now concentrate adding more to his game to make him a more rounded player.”
