CHELTENHAM defender Matt Bower has his sights set firmly on a first-team place after signing a new deal at Whaddon Road.
Bower, 19, will now remain at the club until at least 2019 and feels he can continue to push on and add to his senior appearances under manager Gary Johnson.
Bower said: “It’s my home town club. I’m very happy here and with the way I’ve pushed myself and learned over the last few seasons under the coaching staff here.
