KEITH Curle believes his excellent relationship with Jamal Campbell- Ryce was a key factor in bringing the winger to Carlisle.
The 34-year-old Jamaica international tied up a move from Barnet to reunite with his old boss after the pair worked together at Notts County.
Curle is delighted to clinch the deal which went through just before the 11pm deadline.
He said: “I worked with him at Notts and he was part of a very successful team which just missed out on the play-offs.
“I’ve always had a good relationship with him and I’ve stayed in contact.”
