NEW signing Alex Whitmore is dying to get out on to the pitch after joining Chesterfield from Burnley.
The 22-year-old defender has signed for the Spireites for two and a half years and cannot contain his excitement at representing his new team.
“I can’t wait. It’s nice to have it all sorted,” Whitmore said.
“We’ve been working on it for most of the week but it was good to finally get the call to say I could come over.
